$LAVA

As Vulcan’s minions know, the on-chain token called $LAVA is the play-to-earn token generated from gameplay across Vulcan Forged games. It will be the life-blood of the entire ecosystem. $LAVA can be used to buy materials, upgrade vulcanites, Gods, and land (along with XP), and traded for $PYR or $USDC using the VulcanDex.

Vulcan will reward long-term $PYR holders with $LAVA airdrops. Every single day. These rewards increase over time. A multiplier can be used to increase the fixed rewards by 1.5x.

Every single $PYR counts

Each MyForge wallet on the Matic network that has earned a minimum amount of XP will be eligible to receive $LAVA airdrops. The $LAVA gem program will reward every $PYR on the Polygon Network inside your wallet. Even fractional amounts of $PYR. You need XP to become eligible for the $LAVA airdrop.

$LAVA bonus over time

The longer you keep your $PYR staked inside your wallet, you receive more bonus $LAVA. You can still upgrade to the next tier without losing your bonus percentage. Downgrading your gem tier will result in a total loss of the collected bonus percentage.

As mentioned, the rewards will grow over time. The monthly increase can be consulted using the table below.

Your fixed $LAVA rewards will increase over time for a period of a maximum of 24 months. The ‘Monthly increase’ column shows the monthly increase for each $LAVA gem tier. For example: If you own the Mythic gem, you will receive a base reward of 35 $LAVA each day. After one month of staking, this has increased to 36 $LAVA each day. And after six months, you will receive 41.24 $LAVA/day. Up to a maximum of 24 months resulting in 60 $LAVA/day.

Multiplier NFT

During the multiplier NFT gem event, you were able to receive a free multiplier NFT. Multiplier NFTs will add 1.5x to your daily fixed $LAVA rewards. The multiplier NFTs can be traded on the Vulcan marketplace.

As the bonus over time $LAVA generation amount affects your fixed $LAVA rewards, the multiplier will also add another 50% for your time bonus!

Basic Gem Multiplier

NFT bonus drops

Vulcan will airdrop random NFTs to $LAVA gem holders. Two simple rules apply:

Higher tier gems will have an increased chance for more valuable NFTs.
While the bonus $LAVA will increase over time, the opportunity for more valuable NFTs dropping will also increase with it.
Only wallets holding a gem for at least six months are eligible for NFT drops.

OG badge

Holding one or more VV-OG badges will grant the owner 2.5% extra LAVA for all aforementioned methods.

Dropping below your minimum PYR amount for the gem you currently hold will result in the instant loss of the gem and the bonus LAVA %. It will drop to zero %, and you will have to start from scratch. You can, however, upgrade to the next tier. You can upgrade and downgrade your gem as many times as you want. But, downgrading will result in the loss of your bonus percentage.

Upgrading your gem tier can be done without losing your bonus percentage. It will simply calculate the bonus based on the newly upgraded tier using the same period as the previous gem you owned. It will result in an instant bonus $LAVA generation.

You stake 18000 PYR
You staked this 18000 PYR for eight months
The owner holds at least one VV-OG badge
You will receive a daily fixed $LAVA amount of 60 $LAVA (Epic gem)
You will receive a daily bonus over time reward of 20 $LAVA (8 months)
You will receive a multiplier bonus for (60+20 $LAVA)*1.5 = 120 $LAVA
The minimum requirement for the Epic gem is 12000 PYR. This owner exceeds this amount by 6000 $PYR. Bonus $LAVA generation above 12000 PYR: 1/201 $LAVA for each $PYR. Additional $LAVA rewards are 30 $LAVA.
